1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Meme Studio mobile application (the "Service") provided by LakeSoftware ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Meme Studio is a mobile application that allows users to create, edit, and share meme stickers, images, and videos using photos and video clips from their devices. The Service consists of Free features (supported by advertisements) and Premium Subscription features (including AI-powered background removal, premium fonts, advanced formats like GIF/APNG, and watermark removal).

3. Required Agreement

Before account registration, login, premium subscription, or using the exporting/sharing features, users must review and explicitly agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

4. User Obligations & Content Restrictions

When using the Service, you agree not to engage in the following prohibited activities:

• Using another person's identity, payment methods, or personal information without authorization.

• Deliberately disrupting, compromising, or interfering with the Service's operations or servers (including cloud AI processing systems).

• Using the Service to create, store, or share content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, harmful to minors, or infringes upon the intellectual property rights (copyrights, trademarks) of third parties.

• Modifying, reverse-engineering, or hacking any part of the mobile application.

5. Premium Subscriptions & Payments

• Billing: Premium subscription fees are billed through the respective app stores (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) at the time of purchase and automatic renewal.

• Refunds & Cancellations: All financial transactions, subscriptions, and refunds are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective app store platform. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your app store account settings.

• Service Changes: We reserve the right to modify Premium feature specifications, pricing, or availability with prior notice.

6. Intellectual Property & User Content

• Our Property: All application designs, code, UI/UX, built-in fonts, presets, stickers, and tools provided by Meme Studio are the exclusive intellectual property of LakeSoftware.

• User Content: Content created, edited, or exported by users (memes, custom stickers, edited videos) remains the property of the respective user.

• License to Us: By utilizing our Premium Cloud AI features, you grant us a temporary, non-exclusive license to process your media files solely for the purpose of delivering the edited results back to your device. We do not claim ownership or permanent rights over your media.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

• Free Features: We are not liable for any damages, data loss, or issues resulting from the use of the free, ad-supported features of the Service.

• As-Is Basis: The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

• Force Majeure: We are not liable for any service interruptions, project losses, or processing delays arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, network failures, app store platform outages, or third-party cloud computing disruptions.

• User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the memes and content you create and share with third-party messengers (KakaoTalk, Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Instagram, etc.). LakeSoftware does not monitor or take responsibility for user-generated content.

8. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service (including restricting premium features or accounts) without prior notice if you violate these Terms, engage in prohibited activities, or cause legal risk to our platform.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide at least 7 days' notice within the app or on our official platform before any major changes take effect.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction where LakeSoftware is registered.
